The Fernie trail network exists due to the contributions that volunteers have made over the last few decades. Volunteer work forms the backbone of our organization, from the executive team to running our events. For the riders and non-riders, there are a few ways for you to get involved with the FMBC.
- Attend a Trail Maintenance Night! Throughout the season, the Fernie Trails Alliance hosts trail days for both our cross-country trails and our downhill trails. These are organized days where we get people out on the trails, digging, building, and maintaining. Trail days end with a nice refreshment.
- Our social rides and our races are entirely volunteer organized. We need people to help with organizing, timing races, everything in between.
- We are always looking for great photos showing off the riding that Fernie has to offer. We love to see photos from races and events. Connect with us if you have photos to send along, or if you have specific photo work in mind.
